thinking of having tummy tuck can anyone advise?
May 2nd, 2012Can you answer this please?
March 24th, 2012In the UK the government has said that it will remove and replace breast implants for women who had PIP breast implants fitted on the NHS. If the implants were fitted at a private clinic/hospital and the private company refuses to remove and replace them with safe implants, then the government has said that the NHS will remove them free of charge but it will NOT replace them with the proper article.
I think this is a fair comprimise from the government because the main thing if I was a woman who had these unsafe PIP implants in my body I would just be glad to have them removed even if it meant that I ended up with the same breasts I had before the operation done. I have to say that a lot of women don’t need to have breast augmentation and that it is only done either for men’s benefit or to make them feel “happier” with their own bodies. I think if they accepted the breasts that they were born with and worked at trying to accept that their worth as a woman didn’t depend on the size of their breasts but more about their personally and the good things that they could do to help people worse of than themselves.
Does anyone agree with my sentiments?
Breast implants causing pain… Help!!!?
March 23rd, 2012My Friend is 40, and she has had breast implants for the last 8 years, and now the last couple days the left one has been a lot bigger and painful, she said her chest is really tight, and her left arm has been aching, And no their not PIP, she has been to the doctors, and they are re-ferred her to the surgeon for an examination, has anyone had similar or know what it could be, just to keep her mind at rest before her appointment, which could be weeks away, thanks
How long after breast implant replacement (replacing PIP’s!) can i get pregnant without ruining them?
March 22nd, 2012I have these PIP implants and want them removed asap due to major concerns regarding their affect on my health. I have a 15 month old boy and was planning on trying for another one in 6-12months time. If i had them replaced now how long should i then wait to enable them to heal. I know that If i wait till after i have had the next baby that would be ideal, but i want them out now as so worried.
Anyone any experience of pregancy soon after surgery? Did it ruin them? if so in what way?
I had my original surgery in 2004 and after having my son in 2010 they are definitely droopier so feel it would ruin them, but maybe that only happened as the implants were older and quite soft anyway.
I have considered having them removed then replacing them after the baby but ive seen how deformed it leaves you with just removal and also i wont get the discounted price that they are offering now. (Dont go there about me having the Pay to have faulty/not meant for humans implants removed – thats another story!)
No nasty comments please
tummy tuck when smoking what will happen?
March 22nd, 2012COSMETIC surgeons help..or does anyone know the answer to this…?
January 17th, 2012i like all of my facial features except my jaw/jowl. I am only twenty one and very thin but I have quite a round face, especially by my lower jaw, and think this is due to the shape of my lower jaw and not excess fat! Is there any such cosmetic surgery that can give you a more chiseled jaw line, so I’d have a thinner face? I’ve seen nose jobs etc but never this. And if there is such a thing what kind of price would it be ..
Can I get a tummy/leg/arm tuck on the NHS?
January 17th, 2012If I have excess skin after my weight loss? I am going private for a gastric band as I’m not quite fat enough for the NHS. But no way would I be able to afford anything to be tucked afterwards. Can this be done on the NHS after a weight loss if needed?
Thanks
xxx
Harry and Sammie can sod off anyways. I’m not a smoker or a big drinker so not gonna cost that way. And I pay my taxes towards the NHS. By loosing this weight I am saving money for the NHS in the future. Why shouldn’t I get help if needed?
I’m doing something to lose weight and its not a case of being greedy Sammy. You really do seem quite ignorant.
Lilly B is also quite clearly rather ignorant.
should it be illegal for people to get sex change surgery?
January 17th, 2012I’m a gynecologist and have been for some years now.I was offered the job of working as a plastic surgeon performing various different male to female “sex change” operations.I declined.I personally believe no one should be allowed to alter their gender in such an extreme and unnatural manner.I find the thought of a man with a fake but nonetheless fully functional vagina terribly disturbing and the same goes for females who have “penis’s”.People should be allowed plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons but it should be illegal to change your sex as it just too unnatural. And at the end of the day O.K these people have no penis and from the outside it looks like they have a vagina but they ARE NOT women and never will be.Sadly I think they need to realise they never will be and get on with life
O.K so they feel they are in thw rong body but if they have the operation they still have the same body. They are still men and will never be women. Also if they were really truly like women in everyway except physical features why do they all walk with the grace of an English Bulldog? They are men, will always be men and must live with it.
I once had a MAN come to me because sex was painful.I thought at first it was a butch woman until I was examining him.I could see immediately HE had a fake vagina. To the trained eye there is so much difference between the fake and real and it’s all in their heads that they are female
Oh and medical advice over the internet on sites like this should be illegal! I have been horrified at some of the advice given in answers to women’s health issues. One example today was a woman was told the hymen was INSIDE the vagina! Is it? That’s news to me!
